I am sure you have worked with many wonderful contractors during your tenure in facilities, and probably have your favorites. I would be remiss if I didn't share with my neighboring districts how fabulous XL Construction is. They are working on the 7th project for NUSD, and they are by far the best contractor that I have ever had on a project. They provide white-glove service from precon to punch. Their team is extremely knowledgeable, professional, kind, and just great human beings overall. When we have XL on a project the atmosphere is so collaborative, even with the most persnickety architects. With every Superintendent XL provides, I think wow how can it get better, and yet XL just keeps improving upon themselves. My current new elementary project has such a good superintendent that we are going to finish about 1 month early.
