LinkedIn Middlefield Campus
Extensive renovations to three two-story buildings, totaling 300,000 s.f. LEED Silver.
XL Construction completed extensive renovations to three two-story buildings, totaling 300,000 s.f., to form LinkedIn’s new headquarters campus. The project achieved LEED Silver certification and uses the first greywater system in the City of Mountain View. Unique “treehouse” quiet rooms protrude from the second floor of each building. Additional built out spaces include offices, two cafes, a juice and coffee bar, a fitness and yoga center, locker rooms, and a 400 seat all-hands auditorium space. Site work included a new five-acre meadow filled with indigenous plants that are irrigated with an innovative condensate water system that re-uses water from the rooftop HVAC units. XL also completed substantial seismic retrofits and complete roof replacements for all three buildings.
