Transformation included a library, classroom building, entry plaza, and renovation and modernization of existing classroom, kitchen and administrative areas.
XL Construction completed a comprehensive transformation of The Sheldon Academy of Innovative Learning campus for its 600 K-8 students. Utilizing Lease-Leaseback delivery, XL built a new 6,000 s.f. state-of-the-art library and two-story, 24,000 s.f. classroom building. XL also renovated and modernized 12,000 s.f. of existing classroom and administrative areas. This major project included a 1,500 s.f. commercial kitchen expansion and construction of an outdoor lunch shelter, new playground and bold entry plaza with a prominent shade canopy that newly defined the main access to the campus. XL successfully managed challenging site logistics and kept the school fully operational during a two-year build.
