XL Construction continued the growth of Adept Technology (now part of Omron), a global provider of intelligent robots and robotics systems, through tenant improvements to a 50,000 s.f., one-story building. XL achieved a fast-track schedule with design-build MEPF scopes to meet the client’s design and timing goals. XL created office space and several electronic laboratories used for creating, testing, and assembling industrial robots. The scope included new walls, ceilings, frames, doors, millwork, flooring, painting, HVAC cooling units, BMS controls, compressor lines, and equipment installation. XL also completed lighting and electrical upgrades.
