Under a progressive design-build contract, XL Construction renovated a 194,000 s.f. two-story building to be the client’s new administrative offices for its Executive, Finance, Human Resources, Revenue, and IT teams. The spaces consolidated these groups into a collaborative environment in order to improve service to the client’s patient network. In partnership with Stantec, XL’s scope included structural upgrades as well as building contemporary floor layouts with huddle areas, training rooms, focus nooks and technology-equipped gathering spaces. The facility is designed to LEED Gold standards and to the client’s Carbon Neutrality Initiative guidelines.
